Mumbai: Film director and producer Rakesh Roshan has entered into a new commercial real estate agreement in western Mumbai, leasing two office spaces in Andheri West for his production house, BeingU Studios Private Limited. The combined area of the two units comes to approximately 5,574 square feet, located on the fourth floor of a commercial complex in the Andheri West locality.
According to property filings and reports, the monthly rent for the two units stands at Rs 7.3 lakh, which works out to a significant annual outflow for the production house. BeingU Studios is closely associated with the Roshan family and has been involved in producing several notable Bollywood projects under Rakesh Roshan's leadership.
The move comes at a time when the Roshan family continues to expand its footprint in the entertainment industry. Hrithik Roshan, Rakesh Roshan's son, remains one of Bollywood's biggest stars, and the family's production company has been actively developing new projects for the silver screen.
Andheri West has long been a preferred location for media and entertainment companies in Mumbai, with numerous production houses, advertising agencies, and related businesses operating from the area. The district offers good connectivity and infrastructure, making it a practical choice for business expansion.
Real estate analysts note that such commercial leases by high-profile production houses are often seen as indicators of business growth and confidence in future projects. The decision to take on additional office space suggests that BeingU Studios may be planning to scale up its operations, potentially hiring more staff or consolidating teams under one roof.
