The bullish case rests heavily on what many analysts describe as a structural, multi-year upcycle in memory chip demand. Artificial intelligence workloads are consuming vast quantities of high-bandwidth memory (HBM), the specialized chip technology in which Micron is a leading producer alongside Samsung and SK Hynix. Major cloud computing firms including Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Meta have all publicly committed tens of billions of dollars to expanding AI infrastructure, and that spending translates directly into demand for Micron's memory products.
