The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has released the admit card for the Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment preliminary examination for the year 2026. The Hall Ticket is now available for download on the official CGPSC portal at psc.cg.gov.in.
The preliminary examination is scheduled to be held on July 12, 2026. Candidates who have applied for the post of Sub-Inspector under the Chhattisgarh Police Department are required to download and take a printout of their admit cards before reporting to the examination centre.
The Sub-Inspector recruitment drive was announced by the state government to fill vacant positions across various districts in Chhattisgarh. The selection process for this post typically involves three stages — a preliminary written examination, a main written examination, and a physical efficiency test followed by document verification.
The admit card contains crucial details such as the candidate's name, roll number, examination centre address, reporting time, and instructions that candidates must follow on the day of the exam. Candidates are advised to carefully go through all the instructions provided on the admit card to avoid any last-minute complications.
CGPSC has reminded all candidates to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof at the examination venue. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without both the admit card and an original identity document. Accepted ID proofs typically include Aadhaar cards, voter IDs, PAN cards, or driving licenses.
The commission has also stated that candidates should verify all details on their admit card such as their photograph, signature, and personal information. In case of any discrepancy, candidates are instructed to contact the CGPSC helpline or send an email to the concerned authority within the stipulated time frame.
With the prelims set for July 12, 2026, thousands of aspirants across Chhattisgarh are now preparing for what is considered one of the most sought-after police service recruitment exams in the state. Successful candidates will be appointed as Sub-Inspectors in the Chhattisgarh Police Force, which offers a respectable career with opportunities for growth within the state's law enforcement agency.
