The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has officially released the admit cards for the Sub-Inspector re-examination of 2021, clearing the path for thousands of aspirants across the state who had been waiting anxiously for the schedule. Candidates appearing for the re-conducted exam can now log in to the official portal at recruitment.rajasthan.gov.in to download their personalized hall tickets.
The re-examination was ordered after several legal challenges and representation from candidates concerning the original recruitment process. Many eligible applicants had sought judicial intervention, citing concerns about the transparency and fairness of the initial selection procedure. Following due process and review by the concerned authorities, the commission took the decision to conduct a fresh examination rather than proceed with the already concluded results.
The Sub-Inspector position is one of the most coveted entries into the Rajasthan police force, and the recruitment cycle has historically attracted lakhs of applicants from every district of the state. Candidates who had previously attempted the exam and found themselves outside the merit list due to the controversies were particularly keen on this re-examination opportunity.
According to the commission's advisory, candidates are advised to carefully verify all details printed on the admit card — including the exam centre allocation, reporting time, and roll number — before appearing for the test. Any discrepancy must be reported immediately to the RPSC helpdesk, as corrections may not be entertained after the examination date.
The re-exam is expected to cover the same syllabus and pattern as the original notification, which includes written tests on general studies, reasoning, elementary mathematics, and Rajasthan-specific subjects, followed by physical efficiency and medical tests for shortlisted candidates.
Authorities have also reminded candidates to carry a valid identity proof alongside the admit card on the day of the examination. Photocopies and unsigned documents will not be accepted at the test centres. With the admit card release, the countdown has officially begun for one of the largest competitive examinations in the state this year.
