Virtual On, an Indian technology company specializing in digital display solutions, has unveiled a new range of holographic and immersive display technologies aimed at revolutionizing the museum experience across the country.
The new product line includes holographic projectors that can project three-dimensional images without the need for special glasses, transparent OLED screens that allow visitors to view artifacts while simultaneously seeing overlaid digital information, and immersive projection mapping systems that can transform entire gallery spaces into interactive environments.
According to company officials, these technologies are being developed in response to growing demand from cultural institutions looking to attract younger audiences and provide more engaging educational experiences. Museums across India have been increasingly exploring digital transformation as traditional static exhibits struggle to compete with the interactive entertainment options available to modern visitors.
The holographic displays, in particular, have drawn attention for their ability to reconstruct fragile or inaccessible artifacts in mid-air, allowing viewers to examine objects from every angle.
