The UPSSSC PET serves as the qualifying entrance examination for candidates seeking employment in various subordinate services under the Uttar Pradesh government. The exam is conducted to shortlist candidates for subsequent examinations and interviews for different post categories, including Junior Assistant, Data Entry Operator, and other administrative roles in state government bodies.
According to the notification, eligible candidates must have passed a bachelor's degree from a recognized university to apply for most posts. There is also a minimum age requirement and upper age limit relaxation for reserved category candidates as per government norms. The application process is entirely online.
