The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has officially announced a fresh round of recruitment for the post of Senior Instructor in various institutions across the state. The notification, released as part of the commission's 2026 hiring drive, has sparked significant interest among qualified candidates nationwide. Selected candidates can expect a starting salary package that extends up to ₹1.12 lakh per month, making it one of the more attractive teaching-side government positions in the state.
The recruitment process will involve a written examination followed by document verification and final selection based on merit. Candidates who meet the prescribed educational qualifications are encouraged to submit their applications through the official UPSSSC portal before the deadline. The commission has also clarified that reservation policies applicable to Uttar Pradesh government jobs will be strictly followed during the selection process.
This announcement arrives amid a broader surge in public sector recruitment across India throughout 2026. Several other major organizations have also released vacancy notifications in recent weeks. The Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) in Ghaziabad has opened applications for diploma-level positions, with the application window closing on 25 September. Similarly, United India Insurance Company (UIIC) has advertised 225 posts of Administrative Officer, with graduates eligible to apply.
On the competitive examination front, the Staff Selection Commission has already begun accepting applications for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam, targeting over 2,536 posts for 12th-pass candidates. Meanwhile, the Madhya Pradesh Police department has also issued a notification forGD Constable positions offering salaries up to ₹62,000 per month to candidates who have passed the 10th grade. Together, these announcements reflect a continued push by state and central governments to fill thousands of vacancies across diverse sectors including education, insurance, defense electronics, law enforcement, and administrative services.
