The Uttar Pradesh government has officially kicked off registration for the UP Rojgaar Mela 2026, a massive employment initiative designed to connect thousands of job seekers with recruiters from both the public and private sectors. Candidates can now register through the dedicated portal at rojgaarsangam.up.gov.in, where the state administration has published district-wise schedules, eligibility criteria, and a step-by-step guide for applicants.
The Rojgaar Mela is being organized simultaneously across multiple districts of the state, with each district receiving its own scheduled date. The government has emphasized that candidates from all education backgrounds — including 10th pass, 12th pass,ITI, graduate, and postgraduate levels — are encouraged to register. Government jobs, private sector openings, and self-employment opportunities are expected to feature prominently at the event.
To register, job seekers must visit the official website, fill in their personal and educational details, upload the required documents such as Aadhaar card, mark sheets, caste certificate if applicable, and a recent passport-size photograph. A mobile number and email address must also be linked for further communication.
The UP Employment Office has stated that the mela aims to directly address the rising unemployment challenge in the state by bringing together recruitment drives under one platform. Officials say over several hundred vacancies across various sectors will be advertised during the event. District collectors have been instructed to ensure wide outreach through local media, social campaigns, and awareness drives so that candidates from rural and semi-urban areas also benefit.
Those who have already registered in previous iterations of the mela may need to update their profiles before the new registration window closes. The government has asked candidates to complete their registrations well ahead of their district's scheduled date to avoid last-minute technical issues.
