The Uttar Pradesh Global Educational Institutions (GIC) Department, in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), has officially released the admit cards for the Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) mains examination scheduled for 2026. The long-awaited hall tickets are now available for download on the official UPPSC portal at uppsc.up.nic.in.
Thousands of aspirants who had applied for various PGT positions across the state's global educational institutions can now retrieve their admit cards using their registration details and application numbers. The mains examination serves as the next critical stage after the preliminary screening round, and successful candidates will move forward in the selection process.
The exam is conducted for multiple subjects including Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Economics, Political Science, History, Sanskrit, and other disciplines, depending on the vacancies notified by the recruitment authorities. Candidates are advised to carefully check the details printed on their admit cards, including their name, photo, examination centre allocation, date, and reporting time, before heading to the venue.
Officials have urged candidates to carry a valid photo identification document along with their printed admit card on the day of the examination. Entry to the test centre will only be permitted upon verification of both documents. Additionally, candidates should reach the examination venue well in advance, as late entries may not be allowed under any circumstances.
This recruitment drive is part of the Uttar Pradesh government's ongoing effort to fill teaching positions in global educational institutions established across the state. The appointment of qualified lecturers is expected to strengthen the academic foundation of these institutions and improve education quality in the region.
