The Tamil Nadu Municipal Buildings (MRB) department has announced the release of the admit card for the Health Inspector Grade II recruitment examination in 2025. The notification was shared on the official portal at mrb.tn.gov.in, and shortlisted candidates are now instructed to collect their hall tickets at the earliest.

Health Inspector Grade II is a Group D position under the Tamil Nadu Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department. The examination is conducted to fill vacancies across various municipal bodies and local self-government institutions throughout the state. Successful candidates will be posted as public health officers responsible for monitoring sanitation, disease prevention, and health compliance in urban local bodies.

Candidates who appeared for the written examination must download their admit cards using their registration number and date of birth. The hall ticket contains important details such as the exam centre address, reporting time, section-wise instructions, and the candidate's photograph. Exam centres have been set up in major cities including Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Salem, and Tirunelveli, among others.

The MRB has reminded candidates to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with one valid identity proof — such as an Aadhaar card, voter ID, or PAN card — to the examination venue. Candidates who fail to produce both documents at the check-in counter may be denied entry.

This recruitment drive is considered one of the most sought-after opportunities for graduates and diploma holders in Tamil Nadu, with thousands of aspirants appearing for the exam each year. The selection process typically includes a written test followed by document verification. The final merit list is prepared based on marks obtained in the objective-type examination.
