The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is all set to release the admit cards for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) conducted under the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) Recruitment Cycle 2026. The commission is expected to make the call letters available on its official portal, ssc.gov.in, in the coming days. Candidates who have successfully cleared the computer-based written examination for various MTS vacancies will be eligible to appear for the PET and PST rounds.
The Physical Efficiency Test evaluates candidates on physical endurance and fitness parameters such as running distance and time requirements. Male candidates are typically required to complete a race of 1.6 kilometers within a specified time limit, while female candidates generally have to cover 800 meters. The Physical Standard Test, conducted concurrently, checks height, chest measurements for male candidates, and other physical attributes as per the prescribed norms for each post.
Candidates are advised to carry multiple printed copies of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof on the day of the examination. ThePET and PST are usually conducted at designated centers across various cities and districts. The SSC has been steadily processing the recruitment cycle and is expected to finalize the test schedule and release the admit cards shortly.
