The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the release of admit cards for the second stage of the Computer Based Test (CBT 2) under the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) recruitment for 2026. The notification applies specifically to candidates who qualified in CBT 1 and are now eligible to appear for the graduate-level examination. The admit cards are available for download on the official RRB portals across all regional zones.
Thousands of aspirants had applied for various graduate-level posts such as Junior Clerk cum Typist, Ticket Collector, and Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk under the NTPC scheme. After clearing the preliminary screening test, these candidates can now access their admit cards by logging in with their registration details. Each card contains essential information including the candidate's name, photo, exam center allocation, reporting time, and important instructions that must be followed on the day of the examination.
The RRB has reiterated that candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid government-issued identity proof at the examination center. Possession of both documents is mandatory, and failure to produce either may result in denial of entry. Candidates are also advised to arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled reporting time to complete verification procedures.
This recruitment cycle is one of the largest in recent years, with over ten lakh vacancies being filled across multiple categories and zones. The NTPC examination process follows a three-stage selection procedure: CBT 1, CBT 2, and subsequently a document verification and medical examination. Successful candidates are offered positions with attractive salary scales and job security within Indian Railways.
Candidates facing issues while downloading their admit cards or those with discrepancies in personal details are encouraged to contact their respective regional RRB offices immediately for resolution.
