The Rajasthan Subordinate and Minor Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) has officially announced the release of admit cards for the Forest Guard recruitment examination. The notification was issued a few days ago, and candidates who applied through the board's online portal can now access their hall tickets to appear for the written test.
The Forest Guard recruitment drive is one of the most sought-after opportunities in the state, with thousands of aspirants applying each cycle. The position falls under the Rajasthan Forest Department and comes with a competitive salary structure, government benefits, and the chance to serve in field postings across the state's various forest divisions.
Candidates are advised to carefully verify all details printed on their admit cards, including their name, father's name, date of birth, photograph, examination centre allocation, and the scheduled date and time of the test. Any discrepancy should be reported to the RSMSSB helpline or via email immediately, before the examination date.
The selection process for the Forest Guard post typically involves a written examination followed by a physical efficiency test and medical examination. The written test generally covers subjects such as general knowledge, reasoning ability, mathematics, and Rajasthan-specific topics including geography, history, and current affairs related to the state's forest ecology and wildlife conservation efforts.
Those appearing for the exam are reminded to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof, such as an Aadhaar card, voter ID, or PAN card. Candidates without the required documents will not be permitted to enter the examination hall.
The board has also instructed candidates to reach the examination venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. Electronic devices, including mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators, are strictly prohibited inside the testing centre.
