These roles typically require candidates to have passed the 12th standard, along with physical fitness tests and endurance trials, making them popular among rural and semi-urban youth.
The Indian Navy's sailor entry scheme continues to be one of the most sought-after opportunities for 10th-pass students. The General Duty and Metropolitan entries under the Naval Agniveer scheme have historically drawn lakhs of applicants each cycle. Candidates must meet strict age and physical standards, and the selection process involves a written exam, physical efficiency test, medical examination, and final merit ranking.
Other central and state government departments have also released notifications for drivers, clerks, peons, helpers, and multi-tasking staff positions.
