The State Academy of Municipal Administration (SAMA), Odisha, has officially released the Odisha Common Entry Test (CT) 2026 admit card. Candidates who applied for the entrance examination can now access and download their hall tickets directly from the official website at samsodisha.gov.in.
The Odisha CT Entrance Exam serves as a critical selection test for various posts under the state's municipal administration cadre. Aspirants who successfully cleared the registration phase earlier this year can now fetch their admit cards using their registration details such as roll number, date of birth, or other credentials as specified during the application process.
The admit card contains essential information that candidates must verify carefully before the examination day. This includes the candidate's name, photograph, signature, exam centre allocation, exam date, reporting time, and the full address of the testing venue. Candidates are strongly advised to cross-check all details on the hall ticket against their application records and report any discrepancies to the examining authority immediately.
Exam centres have been set up across multiple districts in Odisha to accommodate the large pool of applicants. The State Academy of Municipal Administration has worked to ensure that candidates from rural and remote areas also have accessible testing locations within reasonable travelling distance.
Candidates are reminded to carry a printed copy of their admit card along with at least one valid original photo identity proof — such as an Aadhaar card, voter ID, or PAN card — to the examination venue. Entry without both the admit card and a valid identity document will not be permitted.
The examination is expected to be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode, following the standardised format used for similar state-level recruitment exams in India. The syllabus covers subjects relevant to municipal administration, general awareness, reasoning, and quantitative aptitude, among others.
With the admit card now live, all remaining preparation time should be focused on revision and mock tests rather than procedural queries.
