Bhopal witnessed the release of a significant literary work that seeks to consolidate the ideological perspectives of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat. The book, titled 'Dr Mohan Bhagwat Sandesh', was unveiled on Friday at the Manasrovar Auditorium in the Madhya Pradesh capital, coinciding with Bhagwat's birthday celebrations.
Authored by senior journalist and writer Krishna Mohan Jha, the book brings together Bhagwat's extensive commentary on a wide range of topics including national issues, social harmony, nation-building, and contemporary subjects of relevance to India's development trajectory. Jha, known for his deep engagement with Indian political discourse, has carefully compiled Bhagwat's speeches, interviews, and written contributions into a single volume aimed at presenting a coherent picture of the RSS chief's worldview.
The release event drew notable attention, with All India Organisation of Imams Chief Imam Dr Umer Ahmed Ilyasi gracing the occasion. Dr Ilyasi, who leads an organisation representing imams across the country, used the platform to stress the critical importance of inter-community dialogue in strengthening social harmony. His presence at the event was seen as a gesture towards promoting communal understanding and bridging differences through conversation rather than confrontation.
The choice of venue — the Manasrovar Auditorium in Bhopal — added to the significance of the occasion, as Madhya Pradesh has been a state where debates over social harmony and national identity have frequently surfaced in public discourse.
