Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has officially announced the examination date for the much-anticipated Revenue Assistant Exam Officer (RAEO) recruitment 2026 cycle. The notification, released from the commission's headquarters in Bhopal, sets the exam schedule and also directs candidates to access the detailed examination calendar through an official PDF document available on the MPPSC website.
The RAEO recruitment drive is one of the most sought-after government employment opportunities in the state, attracting lakhs of applicants each cycle. The position falls under the Madhya Pradesh Revenue Department and involves responsibilities related to land records maintenance, revenue collection oversight, and administrative coordination at the tehsil level across the state.
According to the notification, the written examination will be conducted in a pen-and-paper mode across multiple centers spread throughout Madhya Pradesh. MPPSC has arranged examination centers in major cities including Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain, Sagar, Ratlam, and several other district headquarters to accommodate the large candidate pool.
Candidates who applied through the online portal are now expected to download their admit cards from the official MPPSC website using their registration credentials. The commission has emphasized that no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without a valid admit card and a photo identity proof. Accepted identity documents include Aadhaar card, voter ID, PAN card, or driving license.
The examination pattern comprises a objective-type written test covering subjects such as General Studies, Indian Polity, History, Geography, Economics, General Science, and Aptitude. The exact number of questions, marking scheme, and duration of the paper will be specified in the information brochure released alongside the notification.
MPPSC has also issued a set of instructions for candidates regarding what items are permitted and prohibited inside the examination venue. Electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators are strictly banned. Candidates are advised to reach the examination center at least one hour before the scheduled reporting time to complete security verification and seating arrangements.
In case of any discrepancies in the admit card or exam schedule, candidates have been instructed to raise the issue through the official grievance portal within the specified window period. The commission has stated that any change to the exam date or venue will be communicated via updated notices on the website only.
This year's RAEO recruitment cycle follows a rigorous selection process that includes the written examination followed by document verification. Final merit lists will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written test alone, making thorough preparation essential for aspirants.
