The Madhya Pradesh government has officially launched a large-scale recruitment drive for over 7,500 police positions in 2025, marking one of the biggest hiring initiatives by the state law enforcement agency in recent years. The move comes as part of a broader strategy to strengthen policing infrastructure and address longstanding staffing shortages across districts.

Applications have been opened on the official e-service portal, esb.mp.gov.in, where candidates can register, fill out the required details, and upload necessary documents. The recruitment covers a range of ranks including Head Constable, Constable, and other supporting roles within the state police force. Officials stated that the selection process will include a written examination, physical endurance tests, document verification, and a final merit-based shortlisting.

The government has emphasized that eligible candidates from all sections of society should apply without delay. Although the final deadline for submissions has not yet been announced, authorities are expected to release the complete notification shortly. The recruitments will also include reservation benefits as per state rules, with seats earmarked for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and general category candidates. Additionally, a separate quota has been reserved for women applicants to improve gender representation within the police force.

Career experts and local media have noted that this recruitment drive is particularly significant for Madhya Pradesh, where unemployment among youth remains a pressing concern. Thousands of aspirants across the state have been preparing for police exams, and this opportunity is expected to draw massive participation. Selected candidates will undergo training before being deployed to various postings across the state.

The government has assured that the entire process will be transparent and conducted in accordance with established recruitment guidelines. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official portal for updates regarding exam dates, admit cards, and result announcements.
