The official notification was released this week, and the online application process is scheduled to begin on September 22, giving thousands of aspirants across Madhya Pradesh a fresh opportunity to join one of the most sought-after government employment streams in the state.
The recruitment will be conducted for the post of Police Constable under the Madhya Pradesh Police Force. Candidates belonging to all categories — General, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS — are eligible to apply, subject to meeting the prescribed educational and physical standards. The age limit for general category candidates typically ranges between 18 and 25 years, with relaxations applicable for reserved categories as per state government norms.
The selection process is expected to follow the standard Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)-style or direct constable recruitment pattern widely used by the state police department. This usually involves a written examination conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB), followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), document verification, and a medical examination.
