The preliminary as well as the main examination syllabus covers a wide range of subjects designed to test candidates' aptitude, general awareness, subject-specific knowledge, and computer fundamentals. The exam pattern comprises multiple sections. General Science questions are drawn from physics, chemistry, and biology at the secondary school level. Indian Polity and the Constitution feature prominently, with focus on fundamental rights, directive principles, the parliamentary system, and constitutional bodies. Hindi language comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary form another significant segment. Additionally, Computer Fundamentals has been included as a dedicated section covering basics of hardware, software, operating systems, internet, and MS Office applications.
