A total of 2,888 vacancies have been identified for various districts under the state agriculture department, making this one of the largest agricultural recruitment drives in Madhya Pradesh this year.

The online application window opened earlier this month after the initial notification was released, but with the last date now approaching, authorities are urging eligible candidates to submit their forms without delay.
Applicants are required to hold a bachelor's degree in agriculture or a related discipline from a recognised university. The selection process will involve a written examination followed by document verification. Candidates belonging to reserved categories including Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes are entitled to relaxation in both age limits and application fees as per Madhya Pradesh government norms.
The Krishi Vistar Adhikari serves as a key field-level officer responsible for extending agricultural technology and modern farming practices to rural communities. Officers post these positions are deployed across talukas and districts to work closely with farmers, disseminate information on crop management, soil health, and government schemes, and support extension services delivered through Krishi Vigyan Kendras and district agriculture offices.
