Massive Government Job Drive: 10,644 LDC Posts in Rajasthan and 1,180 PRT Posts in Delhi Announced

In what is shaping up to be one of the most significant recruitment seasons for state-level government jobs in recent years, two major notifications have been issued almost simultaneously, offering employment opportunities to thousands of candidates across different regions and sectors.

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has officially released its long-awaited notification for 10,644 Lower Division Clerk (LDC) posts. The recruitment drive is being conducted under the authority of the Rajasthan state government and the applications are invited through the official portal at rssb.rajasthan.gov.in. This is one of the largest single recruitment exercises ever undertaken by any state selection board in India, and it is expected to attract massive online applications from aspirants across Rajasthan and neighbouring states.

Lower Division Clerks are responsible for maintaining office records, handling correspondence, data entry, and assisting senior administrative staff in day-to-day bureaucratic functioning. The position falls under Group C of the Rajasthan state services and offers a competitive salary structure along with government job benefits including pension, medical allowances, and housing facilities where applicable.

Eligibility criteria for the RSSB LDC recruitment require candidates to have passed graduation from a recognized university, along with proficiency in computer operations and typing skills in both Hindi and English. Age relaxations are available for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per Rajasthan state government norms.

Separately, the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has also issued its notification for 1,180 Post Graduate Teacher and Primary Teacher vacancies. The recruitment is being managed through dsssb.delhi.gov.in and targets candidates interested in teaching positions within Delhi's government schools.

The PRT notification specifically calls for graduates with a B.Ed degree or equivalent teaching qualification. Candidates must also meet the age criteria prescribed by the Delhi government, which typically ranges between 21 and 32 years for general category applicants, with relaxations extending to older limits for reserved categories.

Both notifications mark a crucial opportunity for aspiring candidates who have been waiting for government sector openings. With thousands of posts being filled, the recruitment cycles are likely to draw enormous interest and competition.
