The Maharashtra Police Department has announced the long-awaited Constable Recruitment Exam Results for 2023. The results have been published on the official website mahapolice.gov.in, allowing candidates across all districts of the state to verify their performance and check whether they have qualified for the next stage of the selection process.
This recruitment drive was conducted by the Maha Recruiting Board of Police (MRBP) to fill Constable posts across various districts in Maharashtra. A significant number of aspirants had appeared for the examination, which tested candidates on subjects including general knowledge, reasoning ability, mathematics, and physical fitness standards.
Under the selection process for the Maharashtra Police Constable post, candidates are first evaluated on their written examination scores, followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), a Physical Standard Test (PST), and a document verification stage. Those who clear the merit cutoff are called for the subsequent rounds of selection.
District-wise merit lists have been prepared based on candidates' scores in the written test and category-wise reservations as per state government norms. Candidates can download their name-wise result PDFs from the official portal by entering their registration number or roll number. The merit list is divided according to categories including General, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS, ensuring that reservation policies are accurately reflected in the final ranking.
Authorities have advised candidates to regularly check the official website for updates regarding the PET dates and further procedural instructions. Candidates who do not find their names on the merit list may approach the helpline numbers provided on the website for grievance redressal. The department has also stated that any discrepancies in the results can be addressed through the proper appellate process within the stipulated timeline.
