Community Health Officers serve as critical frontline functionaries in the public health system, acting as the first point of contact between communities and the healthcare infrastructure. The recruitment notification outlined that candidates possessing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) or a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) qualification would be eligible to apply. The age limit prescribed for applicants generally fell within the standard government framework of 18 to 40 years, with relaxation provisions applicable for reserved categories as per Maharashtra state government rules.
