The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has issued a final reminder to aspirants seeking employment as Sub-Inspectors in the Rajasthan Police, confirming that the online application window for 1,015 vacancies will shut tomorrow. Candidates who have not yet submitted their applications are being urged to act immediately, as no extension has been announced.

The recruitment notification was released earlier this year, opening the portal for interested candidates to apply online through the official RPSC website at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. The 1,015 positions span various districts across Rajasthan, with allocations determined by the commission based on state-level staffing requirements. This is one of the largest single recruitment drives undertaken by the RPSC in recent years and has drawn widespread interest from thousands of job seekers throughout the state.

Eligibility criteria require candidates to hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university, along with age between 21 and 40 years, subject to standard relaxations for reserved categories as per Rajasthan government norms. Applicants were also required to meet the prescribed physical standards and ensure they had not previously been disqualified in any competitive examination conducted by the commission.

Application fees vary by category, with general and OBC candidates paying a higher fee than SC, ST, and economically weaker section applicants. A number of candidates reported technical glitches on the final days of the portal, including payment failures and form submission errors, prompting the commission to keep the window open until the officially notified deadline. Candidates who encountered difficulties are advised to retry their applications and retain screenshots and transaction receipts as proof of submission.

After the closing date, the RPSC will finalize the list of valid applications and publish the admit cards for the written examination. The selection process includes a written test, physical efficiency test, and document verification. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for updates on exam schedules and result announcements.
