The Karnataka State Police Department has officially announced the examination dates for the recruitment of Constables under the KSP Constable 2021 notification. A total of 3,533 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive, making it one of the largest police staffing exercises conducted by the state in recent years.
The announcement comes after months of anticipation among thousands of aspirants who had applied for the positions. The Karnataka Police Department stated that the written examination will be conducted across multiple centers in the state, following all applicable health and safety guidelines.
According to officials, the admit cards for the examination are expected to be released in the coming weeks. Candidates who have successfully submitted their applications are advised to regularly check the official Karnataka Police recruitment portal for updates on admit card availability. The admit cards will contain crucial details including exam center allocation, reporting time, and necessary instructions for candidates appearing for the test.
The selection process for the KSP Constable position typically involves a written examination followed by physical efficiency tests, medical examinations, and document verification. Candidates who clear each stage are placed on a merit list based on their cumulative performance.
This recruitment drive is aimed at strengthening the state police force and addressing manpower shortages. The department has emphasized that all procedures will be conducted transparently and in accordance with the rules laid out in the original notification.
