BENGALURU: The Karnataka Exam Authority (KEA) has officially kicked off the online application process for 572 Village Administrative Officer (VAO) vacancies spread across various taluks in the state. The recruitment drive signals a significant push to strengthen grassroots administration and ensure that rural governance structures function more effectively.
VAOs serve as crucial links between the state administration and village-level communities. Their roles encompass maintaining land records, implementing welfare schemes, coordinating with local self-government bodies, and resolving citizen grievances at the taluk level.
