The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has floated a fresh round of recruitment notifications inviting applications for various Group C and support-level positions across its centres nationwide. Notably, the eligibility criteria for several of these roles require only a pass in the 10th standard or its equivalent, opening the door for a wide pool of candidates from diverse educational backgrounds.
According to the official notification, candidates must have passed the 10th standard exam conducted by a recognised board or equivalent examination. The post-specific requirements may vary — certain roles demand proficiency in subjects like Mathematics and Science at the secondary level, while others simply require a passing grade.
The upper age limit for applicants has been set at 35 years as of the cut-off date notified by the organisation. Age relaxations applicable under central government norms will be extended to candidates belonging to reserved categories, including Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and persons with benchmark disabilities, in accordance with existing government regulations.
The selected candidates can expect a monthly salary starting above ₹92,000, depending on the specific role and grade pay attached to the position. This salary structure places the recruitment among the more attractive entries for candidates holding only a 10th-pass qualification in the public sector.
The last date for submitting online applications has been fixed at 13 November. Interested and eligible candidates are urged to visit the official ISRO careers portal and complete their applications well before the deadline, as late submissions will not be entertained.
