Among the most anticipated openings are positions in the Indian Armed Forces, where the Army, Navy, and Air Force are expected to release fresh notifications for various entries including the National Defence Academy, Indian Military Academy, and Agniveer recruitment drives. These recruitments typically offer thousands of vacancies and draw lakhs of applicants each cycle.
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is also expected to release notifications for Level 1 and Level 2 posts under the Group D category, alongside separate drives for technical and non-technical roles. The railway sector alone historically accounts for over one lakh vacancies per notification cycle, making it one of the largest employments generators in the public sector.
Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) such as BHEL, NTPC, IOCL, and GAIL are likely to conduct Graduate Engineering Training Service (GETS) and Management Trainee recruitments through GATE scores or direct applications. Teaching positions under the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Combined Graduate Level examination, State Public Service Commissions, and Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)-related appointments will also see activity. Additionally, staff selection commissions at the state level across Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Tamil Nadu are expected to announce recruitment drives for multi-tasking staff, stenographers, and junior clerical roles.
