Among the other major recruitment drives, the Uttarakhand government has released a fresh calendar for seven separate Group-G category recruitments, covering positions in district administration, public works, and rural development departments. Meanwhile, the United India Insurance Company Limited (UIICI) has opened 225 officer-level vacancies in its pan-India operations, targeting graduates with relevant domain experience.
Analysts note that the convergence of railway, state, and public sector insurance hiring in the same month is unusual and reflects an accelerated effort by the central and state governments to clear long-pending vacancies ahead of the financial year-end.
