The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has officially announced a major recruitment drive for the position of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) across schools in the state. A total of 3,827 vacancies have been identified for various subjects, making it one of the largest teaching recruitment exercises conducted by the commission in recent years.

The recruitment notification was released to fill positions that had remained vacant for some time due to earlier delays in the hiring process. Candidates who possess the requisite postgraduate qualification along with a valid teaching credential will be eligible to apply for these positions. The selection process is expected to involve a written examination followed by document verification, as per the standard HSSC recruitment procedure.

Applicants who are selected for these posts will draw a monthly salary ranging between Rs 15,600 and Rs 39,100, depending on their educational qualifications and grade pay, which can bring the total monthly remuneration up to approximately Rs 1.51 lakh when all allowances and benefits are included. This salary structure falls under the Seventh Central Pay Commission recommendations applicable to state government teaching positions.

The HSSC has instructed interested candidates to submit their applications through the official online portal within the stipulated timeline. The commission has also warned that applications received after the deadline or those found incomplete will be summarily rejected. Candidates are advised to carefully read the detailed notification before applying, as it contains subject-wise vacancy distribution, age relaxation criteria, and fee structure details.

Education analysts note that this large-scale recruitment is significant for the state's education sector, as it will help strengthen the teaching workforce in government higher secondary schools across Haryana. The recruitment is expected to attract thousands of qualified graduates and postgraduates looking for stable teaching careers in the state government system.
