Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Police Recruitment Board (GPRB) has officially released its 2025 recruitment notification, announcing the availability of 13,591 posts across multiple categories within the state police force. The notification, published on the board's official website gprb.gujarat.gov.in, marks one of the largest single recruitment drives by any state police organization in India this year.
The recruitment covers a wide spectrum of positions including Constable (General Duty), Constable (Armed Reserve), Sub-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector, and several other subordinate roles that form the backbone of Gujarat's law enforcement machinery. The sheer scale of vacancies — nearly 14,000 — underscores the state government's commitment to strengthening policing infrastructure and addressing long-pending staffing gaps.
Eligibility criteria vary depending on the post applied for. Candidates are required to be Indian nationals and residents of Gujarat or as specified under the relevant recruitment rules.
