The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the admit cards for the Delhi Police Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) for the year 2026. Candidates who have cleared the written examination phase can now collect their hall tickets from the SSC's official website at ssc.gov.in.
The physical tests are scheduled to commence on July 25, 2026, across designated centres in the National Capital Territory. The PET assesses candidates on endurance and athletic ability, including events such as long jump, high jump, shot put, and a 1600-meter race for male candidates, while female candidates are tested on different standards tailored to their category. The PMT, conducted immediately after the PET, verifies that candidates meet the minimum height, chest, and weight criteria prescribed for Delhi Police recruitment.
Candidates who appeared for the SSC Delhi Police Constable written exam earlier this year received their call letters through an earlier notification, but the formal admit card for the physical round has now been made available for download. Applicants are advised to carry a valid government-issued identity document alongside the printed admit card on the day of the test.
The selection process for Delhi Police Constable positions involves three stages — the written examination, the physical efficiency and measurement tests, and a final document verification round. Only those who clear all three stages are placed on the final merit list. The overall recruitment aims to fill several thousand constable posts across the Delhi Police force, making it one of the largest state-level policing recruitment drives in India.
Officials have reminded candidates to verify their test centre allocation carefully, as any discrepancy must be reported to the SSC helpline within 48 hours of admit card release.
