The recruitment drive aims to address the ongoing shortage of teaching staff in Delhi's public school system, which has seen several posts remain vacant due to attrition, retirements, and delayed appointments. Guest teachers in Delhi are appointed on a contractual basis and typically serve under fixed-term agreements that can be renewed subject to performance evaluations.
Eligibility criteria require candidates to hold at least a Bachelor's degree along with a Bachelor of Education or comparable teaching qualification from a recognized institution. Some positions may demand additional subject-specific qualifications depending on the level and subject being taught.
