The Combined State Board of Competition (CSBC), Bihar has released the admit cards for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) under the Bihar Police Home Guard Constable Recruitment 2020 cycle. The announcement marks an important milestone in the selection process, as candidates who cleared the preliminary written examination are now being called for the next stage of evaluation.
The Physical Efficiency Test is a critical component of the recruitment process for home guard constables in Bihar. It assesses candidates on parameters such as running, high jump, long jump, and other physical fitness standards that are essential for service in the home guard force. Only candidates who meet the prescribed physical standards will be eligible to proceed further in the selection process.
Candidates who appeared for the written examination and whose results declared them as qualified can now log in to the official CSBC portal to download their PET admit cards. The admit cards contain crucial details including the candidate's name, roll number, test date, reporting time, venue address, and necessary instructions to be followed on the day of the test.
The CSBC has advised all shortlisted candidates to carefully read the instructions mentioned on the admit card and carry multiple copies of the document along with valid identity proof on the day of the PET. Candidates are also urged to arrive at the test venue well before the designated reporting time to avoid any last-minute complications.
This recruitment drive was initiated to fill vacant constable positions in the Bihar Home Guard force. The recruitment notification had invited applications from eligible male and female candidates aged between 18 and 30 years, depending on category. Thousands of candidates across Bihar registered for the examination, making it one of the most significant state-level recruitment exercises in recent times.
The board has stated that any discrepancy in the admit card details should be reported immediately through the official grievance channel. No late admit cards will be issued on the day of the examination, and candidates are strongly advised to download and print their cards at the earliest.
