The Cabinet Secretariat has officially notified a significant recruitment drive to fill 250 vacant positions across multiple categories within the organisation. The hiring covers Group C and Group D posts, including stenographers, data entry operators, assistant positions, and other supporting roles that form the backbone of the administrative machinery in New Delhi.

The application window will open on November 15, giving eligible candidates ample time to prepare their submissions through the official online portal. Applicants are expected to meet the minimum educational qualification requirements specified for each post, which typically range from a 10th or 12th pass to graduate degrees depending on the position applied for. Candidates belonging to reserved categories may also be eligible for age relaxation as per government norms.

While the detailed vacancy-wise breakup across different posts and the exact educational criteria have been included in the official notification, the Secretariat has urged interested candidates to visit the designated recruitment website to access the complete advertisement. The selection process is expected to involve a combination of written examination and document verification, followed by a final merit list based on performance.

This recruitment drive comes at a time when the Cabinet Secretariat has been working to strengthen its administrative capacity to support the work of the Union Council of Ministers and the Prime Minister's Office. The addition of 250 personnel is seen as an effort to reduce the existing backlog of vacancies and improve the efficiency of day-to-day operations. Candidates from across the country are eligible to apply, provided they meet the age and qualification criteria set out in the notification.
