The Bihar Translation Selection Commission (BTSC) has issued fresh recruitment notifications for over 3,500 positions across various departments in the state, marking one of the largest hiring drives under its recent initiatives. The commission announced vacancies for Farm Supervisory Officers (FSO), Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and a significant number of Ayush Medical Officer (MO) and related healthcare posts.
Under the first notification, 303 posts were advertised across the categories of Farm Supervisory Officers, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists. These positions fall under various departments of the Bihar state government, primarily in the agriculture and health sectors. Candidates who had applied before the original deadline were given additional time as the final date for submission was subsequently extended.
In a separate but concurrent notification, the BTSC opened recruitment for approximately 3,270 posts of Ayush Medical Officers and other allied positions. This massive drive targets the Ayush — ayurveda, yoga, unani, siddha, and homeopathy — healthcare system in Bihar, aiming to strengthen medical facilities in rural and semi-urban areas across the state. The government has been actively working to fill vacant positions in these specialized medical departments to improve healthcare delivery.
Applications for all the advertised posts can be submitted exclusively through the official examination portal at pariksha.nic.in. The Bihar government has emphasized that candidates must apply well before the deadline and ensure all documents are uploaded correctly, as no correction window will be available after submission.
The recruitment process is expected to include a written examination or computer-based test, followed by document verification, as per the commission's standard procedure.
