Office Attendant is a Level-1 post under the Bihar Government Civil List Rules, typically falling under pay band Rs. 5,200–20,200 with a grade pay of Rs. 1,800. The role involves assisting administrative offices with routine clerical support, maintaining records, and performing general duties as assigned by supervising officers.
Candidates applying for this vacancy must have passed Class 10 or its equivalent from a recognized board. There is no upper age limit relaxation beyond what is prescribed under the Bihar government reservation policy. Candidates belonging to reserved categories including SC, ST, and physically disabled applicants are entitled to relaxation in both age criteria and application fees as per Bihar state government norms.
The application fee structure varies by category. General category candidates are required to pay the full application fee, while SC, ST, and physically challenged applicants enjoy concession. Female candidates are typically exempt from paying the application fee entirely, in line with Bihar government policy. Online payments can be made through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI through the BSSC application portal.
