The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BPSSC) has officially released the admit cards for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Technical) under the Bihar Police recruitment cycle 2026. The hall tickets are now available for download on the commission's official portal at bpssc.bihar.gov.in.
The computer-based examination is scheduled to take place on August 5, 2026. Thousands of candidates who had applied for various technical posts under the Bihar Police are expected to appear for the test across multiple centres in the state. The BPSSC has advised all candidates to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof on the day of the examination.
The Assistant Sub-Inspector (Technical) recruitment was notified earlier this year by the Bihar government to fill vacant positions in the technical branches of the state police force. Candidates who qualified in the preliminary screening and completed the application process were issued roll numbers, which they must use while downloading the admit card.
Candidates are instructed to enter their roll number and date of birth on the official BPSSC website to access and download their hall tickets. The admit card contains crucial details including the candidate's name, exam centre allocation, reporting time, and examination schedule. Voters ID cards, PAN cards, or any other government-issued photo identity documents will be accepted as valid identity proofs at the examination venue.
The BPSSC has also reminded candidates to verify all information present on their admit cards carefully before heading to the exam centre. In case of any discrepancy in personal details or centre allocation, candidates are advised to contact the commission immediately through the helpline or email provided on the official website.
Previous rounds of selection for similar BPSSC recruitment drives have included a written examination followed by document verification and medical tests. The selection process for ASI Technical positions typically involves a competitive written test assessing knowledge in relevant technical subjects, general awareness, reasoning ability, and quantitative aptitude.
Authorities have stated that strict adherence to COVID-era protocols may not be required, but candidates should still follow standard health precautions while travelling to examination venues.
