The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BPSSC) has announced the release of admit cards for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Technical) in Bihar Police for the year 2026. The notification was shared through the official website at bpssc.bihar.gov.in, enabling eligible candidates to access and download their hall tickets at their convenience.

The written examination is scheduled to be held on 5 August 2026. Candidates who have successfully completed their registration and application process for this recruitment drive are now required to collect their admit cards before appearing for the test. The admit card typically contains essential details such as the candidate's name, roll number, examination centre allocation, reporting time, and important instructions that must be followed on the day of the exam.

The ASI Technical post is a significant recruitment avenue under the Bihar Police framework. Candidates appointed to this position undergo rigorous selection involving a written examination, physical efficiency test, and document verification stages. The technical variant of the ASI role primarily requires candidates with specific technical qualifications relevant to the operational needs of the state police force.

BPSSC has urged all candidates to carefully read the instructions mentioned on the admit card and carry a valid photo identity proof along with it to the examination venue. Applicants are also advised to arrive at the testing centre well in advance of the designated reporting time to avoid any last-minute complications.

The commission had earlier conducted the application process for this recruitment and received a large number of applications from aspiring candidates across the state. With the admit card now released, the focus has shifted to the examination preparation phase, and candidates are expected to report for the test on the specified date.
