One of the largest police recruitment exercises in Bihar's recent history is underway as the Bihar State Commission of the Board of Constables (CSBC) has officially released the notification for filling up 19,838 constable positions across the state police force for 2025.

The selection board, which operates under the broader umbrella of Bihar's Home Department, announced that the vacancies have been allocated category-wise, covering the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections, and general merit pool. The detailed category-wise breakdown was published on the official CSBC website to ensure transparency in the recruitment process.

Candidates who had been waiting for the long-awaited Bihar Police constable recruitment notification can now begin their applications. The previous recruitment cycle had seen significant delays due to legal challenges and administrative restructuring, leaving thousands of aspirants in limbo for over two years.
