The Bihar Trade Service Selection Commission (BTSC) has officially extended the deadline for submitting online applications against a large-scale recruitment drive for Ayush Medical Officer and related posts. The notification covers over 3270 vacancies across multiple categories and sub-posts within the Ayush department's workforce requirements.

The extension comes after widespread requests from eligible candidates who sought additional time to complete their applications. Many aspirants, particularly those from remote areas of Bihar, had raised concerns about difficulties in accessing the online portal and arranging the requisite documents and photographs for the application process. The commission acknowledged these grievances and decided to grant further time.

Candidates can now apply online through the official recruitment portal at pariksha.nic.in. The application process requires applicants to fill in personal details, educational qualifications, category certificates, and upload scanned photographs and signatures as per the prescribed format. Candidates are advised to ensure that all documents meet the dimensional and file-size specifications before final submission.

The Ayush Medical Officer positions fall under the Bihar state government's Ayush Department, which oversees the functioning of Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy medical services across the state. The recruitment is expected to significantly strengthen the staffing of AYUSH facilities, including primary health centres, community health centres, and district hospitals throughout Bihar.

Recruitment officials have clarified that the selection process for these posts will involve a merit-based evaluation, with shortlisted candidates required to appear for subsequent stages as outlined in the official notification. Interested and eligible candidates are urged to submit their applications well before the revised deadline to avoid last-minute technical glitches or payment failures on the portal.
