The PGT vacancies, on the other hand, require candidates to possess a postgraduate degree in their subject area along with a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching credential, and these positions are designated for high school and senior secondary school levels.
The state government stated that the recruitment drive is part of its ongoing effort to strengthen the quality of school education across Uttar Pradesh, India's most populous state.
