The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the admit cards for the Lower PCS 2026 examination, marking a significant milestone for thousands of aspirants who have been preparing for this competitive recruitment drive. The official notification confirmed that candidates can access and download their hall tickets from the commission's designated website.
The Lower PCS examination serves as the preliminary screening stage for recruitment to various Group C and Group D posts under the State Government of Uttar Pradesh. The commission had earlier announced the exam schedule, and the release of admit cards now enables candidates to plan their travel and logistical arrangements well in advance.
Candidates are advised to thoroughly verify all details printed on their admit cards, including their name, examination date, reporting time, venue address, and roll number. Any discrepancy in personal details should be reported to the commission immediately through the grievance portal. The UPSSSC has stressed that no changes will be entertained after the deadline for corrections.
The commission has also issued several important instructions for candidates. Photographs must be carried in original form, and candidates must present the admit card at the examination centre along with a valid photo identity proof. Electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. Candidates are urged to reach the centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled reporting time to avoid last-minute rushes.
This year's Lower PCS examination is expected to attract a larger number of applicants compared to previous cycles, reflecting growing interest in state-level government employment opportunities. The selection process for Lower PCS typically involves a written examination followed by document verification. Successful candidates are appointed to positions such as Junior Assistant, Clerk, and other subordinate services across various departments in Uttar Pradesh.
The UPSSSC has requested all candidates to remain vigilant against fraudulent notices claiming to offer admit cards through unofficial channels. Only documents downloaded from the official UPSSSC website will be considered valid for entry into the examination centre.
