The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the admit cards for two major competitive examinations — the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Central Armed Police Forces (CDS) II written exams, along with the Civil Services Mains examination for 2026. Candidates appearing for these high-stakes tests can now collect their hall tickets from the commission's official portal at upsc.gov.in.
The NDA and CDS II exams are conducted twice a year and serve as the first stage of selection into the Indian Military Academy, Air Force Academy, Naval Academy, and Indian Naval Engineering Service. These examinations are among the most sought-after entries into the armed forces for young graduates across India. Meanwhile, the Civil Services Mains is the second stage of the prestigious UPSC Civil Services Examination, which recruits officers for the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, Indian Foreign Service, and other Group A and Group B services.
To download the admit cards, candidates need to visit the official UPSC website and navigate to the 'Admit Card' section. They must enter their registration number and date of birth or password, as applicable, to access and print their hall tickets. The admit cards contain crucial details such as the candidate's name, examination centre, date and time of the exam, and important instructions that candidates are required to follow on the day of the test.
The release of these admit cards marks a significant milestone for thousands of aspirants who have spent months preparing for these examinations.
