UPSC Releases Admit Cards for NDA, CDS 2 and Mains 2026 Examinations

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the admit cards for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination 2026 (Paper II), along with the Civil Services Mains Examination 2026. All candidates who successfully completed their registration and application process can now access their hall tickets from the UPSC portal at upsc.gov.in.

For the NDA and CDS 2 Examination, the admit cards contain crucial details such as the candidate's name, roll number, examination centre allocation, date, and reporting time. Aspirants are advised to carefully verify all information printed on their admit cards and report any discrepancies to the commission immediately. The NDA and CDS exams serve as the gateway for entry into the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, and the Indian Military Academy, making them among the most sought-after defence services recruitments in the country.

Separately, the UPSC has also released the admit cards for the Civil Services Mains Examination 2026. Thousands of candidates who cleared the Civil Services Preliminary Examination earlier this year are now waiting for their hall tickets to sit for the written mains, which includes nine papers spread across General Studies, optional subjects, essay, and Indian language components. The Mains score carries significant weightage in the final merit ranking for the prestigious IAS, IPS, and IFS services.

Candidates are reminded that only the printed admit card along with a valid photo identity proof will be accepted at the examination venue. Entry without a printed admit card will not be permitted under any circumstances. The UPSC has also cautioned candidates against relying on third-party websites for admit card downloads and urged them to use only the official upsc.gov.in portal to avoid phishing scams.

The recruitment cycle for both the defence services and civil services continues to witness record numbers of applicants each year, with lakhs of aspirants competing for a limited number of vacancies across India.
