Admit cards for three separate state government recruitment examinations have been officially released for the 2026 cycle, sending candidates across North and East India scrambling to download their hall tickets and prepare for upcoming tests.
The Punjab Engineering Recruitment Department has made available the admit card for the Punjab Lecturer Cadre examination. Candidates who applied for teaching positions in polytechnic and engineering colleges across the state can access their hall tickets through the department's official website at erd.punjab.gov.in. The selection process for the lecturer cadre is conducted to fill teaching posts in government-run technical institutions throughout Punjab.
In eastern India, the Odisha Staff Selection Commission has released the admit card for the Contract Teacher (CT) examination. Aspirants who appeared for the CT recruitment drive can download their entry pass from the commission's official portal at samsodisha.gov.in. The contract teacher recruitment aims to fill teaching vacancies in schools under the state education department.
Meanwhile, in northern India, the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has issued admit cards for the Haryana Civil Services (HCS) Mains examination. Candidates who cleared the preliminary stage and qualified for the mains written test can retrieve their hall tickets from hpsc.gov.in. The HCS Mains examination is a critical stage in the recruitment pipeline for group A and group B civil service positions in the Haryana state administration.
All three examinations represent significant career opportunities for thousands of aspirants across their respective states. Officials have advised candidates to carefully check all details printed on their admit cards — including exam centre allocation, reporting time, and required documents — well before the examination date. Candidates are urged to carry a valid photo identity proof along with the admit card to gain entry into the examination venue.
