The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has declared the much-awaited results for the Group D recruitment exam conducted across the country. The announcement has brought relief to lakhs of candidates who had been anxiously awaiting their scores since appearing for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) held earlier this year. The results have been published region-wise, with each of the RRB zones managing its own merit list independently.
Candidates can download their result cards by visiting the official RRB website and navigating to the results section. All that is required is the application number, date of birth, or roll number issued during the examination process. Once entered correctly, the candidate's complete scorecard becomes available for viewing and printing.
The Group D recruitment drive was one of the largest in recent memory, with over ten lakh applicants competing for thousands of posts including Helper, Assistant, and various technical support positions across Indian Railways. The examination itself was conducted in multiple phases, with CBT forming the primary screening stage followed by document verification and medical tests for shortlisted candidates.
RRB officials stated that the result declaration follows a rigorous evaluation process and adherence to the merit criteria set by the board. Candidates whose names appear on the merit list will proceed to the next stages of the selection process, including document verification rounds scheduled in the coming weeks.
Candidates are advised to keep all relevant documents handy, including original identity proofs, educational certificates, caste certificates where applicable, and photographs, as these may be required during subsequent verification stages.
