The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has officially announced a major recruitment drive for approximately 800 vacancies across various Group B and Group C posts in state government departments. The notification was released to fill positions ranging from administrative officers and tehsildars to clerical and support staff roles spread across multiple departments in the state.
The recruitment process is being conducted through the MPSC written examination followed by an interview and document verification stage. Candidates who have passed a bachelor's degree from a recognized university are eligible to apply for most of these positions. Some posts may require additional qualifications or subject-specific background depending on the nature of the role.
Originally, the last date for submitting applications was set for early July, but the commission decided to extend the deadline to July 15 to give more candidates adequate time to complete their applications. The extension came after several aspirants requested additional days, citing technical difficulties faced while filling out the online form.
The selection process will include a preliminary test, main examination, and a personal interview. Candidates are advised to carefully read the official notification and fill in accurate details. The commission has also warned that incomplete or incorrect information may lead to disqualification even at later stages of the selection process.
This recruitment drive is expected to provide significant employment opportunities for youth across Maharashtra, especially in rural and semi-urban areas where such government positions hold considerable social and economic value.
