A 32-year-old man in Assam's Nagaon district has died after jumping from a police van that was transporting him, just hours after he was booked for allegedly beheading his wife. According to local police, the man, identified as Rony Baruah, had been arrested late Tuesday evening following reports that his wife's severed head was found near their home in the Dispur area of Nagaon.
